Just in from Sam: The Pride of Hout Bay skippered by Theo Yon seen sailing in on
their L26 after the first day of racing in this years Lipton cup being sailed
off shore in Durban.
They are currently lying in 6th place against the finest teams from all around
the country, and have been described as the team sailing with the most heart by
the organisers. Theo Yon has been a long time sailor for Hout Bay and is actively
involved in the training in the HBYC
junior program. He has recently obtained his Yachtmaster (off shore) qualification and is
working hard to be included in the Cape to Rio race at the end of the year.
