Spectrum wins 2015 Club Champs!

Megafreight, HBYC Club Champs 2015

HBYC Club Champs were held in almost perfect conditions over 24,25 January 2015. A reasonable turnout of seven very competitive boats was witnessed, with very tight racing in each race over the two days. A total of five races was held in the moderate Northwester that prevailed.

Racing was extremely tight, with two photo-finishes, two reasonable collisions, and a few occasions of competitors trading places during each race! There was a great social at the clubhouse on Saturday night - huge thanks to Shirley and Taffy - who organised great food and some live music to go with it.

Many thanks also to Richard Evans and Chris Sutton who put a lot of work into this event.
